About the Artist

Derbyshire based visual artist, Kay Nyx, works primarily in acrylics and digital paint. Nyx’s work continues to evolve whilst studying a BA Hons Fine Art Degree, combining traditional and digital art techniques to communicate a different perspective.

Nyx takes inspiration from their lived experiences as a disabled person and what it means to be '“different”. Their work represents the internal thoughts of the artist and provides a contemporary social commentary.
